How to Win at Roulette

To put it simply, roulette is about predicting where a ball will stop spinning on a roulette wheel. You can bet on a single number or a combination of numbers. Full details of the game are listed below, and if you’re new to the game, why not ask a member of the team in a Premier Casino to help you learn the ropes?

How to Play Roulette

  • Roulette wheels sit in bowls and are spun in unison with a small ball. When both ball and wheel come to rest, the former sits on one of 37 numbers and one of 3 colours. Punters can place bets on the colours and numbers in question.
  • A roulette wheel consists of 37 coloured and numbered divisions. These are divided equally from numbers 1-36 among red and black. Additionally, one green slot, marked 0, accounts for the odds on red or black falling just shy of 50%.
  • The fun is in the choice. Consider betting on several numbers or even sections of numbers, e.g. 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36.
  • Bets can be placed right up until the dealer, or croupier, says ‘no more bets’ and, when the ball comes to a stop, winnings are paid out accordingly.
  • As always, if you are new to the game, feel free to ask a member of the team for help with the rules of roulette. Remember to gamble responsibly and only try out a small wager before you are comfortable with the game.
